Ferncourt Family Fair 2023

Held in the beautiful historic grounds of Ferncourt Public School in Marrickville, this fair is a traditional-style school fair with some Inner West flair. After a long break, this year’s Ferncourt Family Fair is set to be very special. It will take place on Saturday, 13 May 2023, the day before Mother’s Day so it’s a great option for Mother’s Day shopping. You’ll find luxurious hampers, flowers, handmade crafts, fun rides, fantastic food and much, much more.

It’s a wonderful day out with something for everyone, from scrumptious homemade cakes and preserves, a silent auction and our chocolate wheel, to live music all day! The kids will be able to burn off all that extra energy on the fair rides, get slimed, or join the nerf gun wars. There’s face painting and kids craft too! You can grab a bargain at the second-hand clothing boutique and bookstore, or hunt for hidden treasures.

If you’d prefer something a little bit more relaxing, why not enjoy the peace and tranquility of the historic rose garden with a Devonshire tea. Afterwards you can wander around and grab some plants, craft items and lovingly prepared homemade jams, pickles and chutney. With plenty of delicious fare available your tastebuds won’t be disappointed. Choose from Brazilian BBQ, Lebanese lentils, or the classic Vietnamese street food. Of course, all the favourites are on offer too with a sausage sizzle, fairy floss, lolly stall, gelato and barista-made coffee all day.
